MEETING THE SAFETY STANDARDS Where play equipment is a permanent feature on a playground the depth of the wet pour surfacing required is determined by the operating fall height of the equipment in accordance with BS EN 1177.
Tests are carried out on a sample of wet pour rubber at a set depth to determine the calculated height from which it is assumed that the surface will absorb the impact of a child's fall, without the child suffering severe head injuries. This calculated height is termed the 'Critical Fall Height' (CFH). The fall height of the play equipment must not exceed the CFH. For example, our wet pour surfaces installed to a depth of 50mm give a Critical Fall Height of 1.46m.
With Wet Pour Surfaces you can be sure that our play surfaces always meet the BS EN safety standards.
Our experienced and friendly installers will be happy to discuss your requirements and provide you with a firm estimate of both installation, timing and cost.
All work is carried out to the highest standard; efficiently and cleanly, with the minimum of disruption.
